Official CMMC Level 2 Assessments Across Florida
From NAS Pensacola to NAS Key West, Florida’s defense industrial base runs on contractors who handle CUI. Cybersec Investments is Florida’s only Accredited C3PAO — assessing them on-site, in-state, and in your time zone.
A Statewide Defense Economy
Florida Runs on Defense
Florida hosts three combatant commands — CENTCOM and SOCOM at MacDill, SOUTHCOM in Doral — plus Space Force on the Space Coast and Navy, Air Force, and special-operations installations from the Panhandle to the Keys. The primes and subcontractors serving them store, process, and transmit Controlled Unclassified Information, and the flow-down clauses reach the whole chain. When the 48 CFR rule takes effect, a CMMC Level 2 certification becomes the price of staying on those contracts.

We Live Here Too
Yes, It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere — Your Assessment Still Ships on Time
We’re not a fly-in team that parachutes into your enclave and vanishes. We’re Floridians. We’ve run the airboat through the Everglades, grabbed a board from the 24-hour Ron Jon’s for a dawn set off Cocoa Beach, survived a full day at Disney World with the kids, white-knuckled the coasters at Busch Gardens, and given a wide berth to more than one gator sunning on the fairway. Florida isn’t a territory on our sales map — it’s home.
That matters more than it sounds. When your C3PAO is down the road instead of across the country, you get an assessor in your time zone, on-site without a cross-country travel bill, who understands the pace of doing business here. We keep the assessment rigorous and the process human — because compliance is serious, but it doesn’t have to be miserable. And when your certification is squared away? Well… it’s 5 o’clock somewhere.
Why Us
Florida’s Only Accredited C3PAO — and Why That Matters
Accredited, Not Just Authorized
We hold ISO/IEC 17020:2012 accreditation, independently assessed with ANAB — a materially higher bar than Authorization alone, and the distinction your certification’s defensibility rests on. In Florida, we’re the only C3PAO that meets it. Verify us on the Cyber AB marketplace ↗
Veteran-Owned & Mission-Aware
A Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and SBA 8(a) firm. The primes carry small-business and SDVOSB subcontracting goals, so working with us can be a value-add on your own teaming.
On-Site, Statewide, In-State
Florida-based means no cross-country travel to coordinate and no time-zone gaps — an assessor who can be on your site from the Panhandle to the Keys.
150+ Assessments of Experience
We’ve completed more than 150 CMMC Level 2 assessments, and our principal is recognized for contributions to developing the standard. That depth shows up as a smoother, more predictable assessment for well-prepared contractors.
Florida FAQ
Common Questions from Florida Contractors
Do you travel on-site anywhere in Florida?
Yes. We’re based on the Space Coast and assess on-site across the entire state — Pensacola, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Miami, and the Keys — so your assessment stays in-state and in your time zone.
What’s the difference between an Accredited and an Authorized C3PAO?
Authorization lets a firm perform CMMC assessments. Accreditation adds an independent ISO/IEC 17020 audit (through ANAB) of the assessment body itself — a higher, externally verified standard. We’re the only C3PAO in Florida that carries it, and you can confirm any C3PAO’s status on the Cyber AB marketplace.
We’re a subcontractor supporting CENTCOM, SOCOM, or SOUTHCOM — do we need CMMC?
If you store, process, or transmit Controlled Unclassified Information on a DoD contract, the flow-down clauses reach you as a subcontractor regardless of which command you support. When the 48 CFR rule takes effect, primes will require certified subs — so it’s worth starting your readiness now rather than at award.
How long does a CMMC Level 2 assessment take?
It depends on your readiness. Well-prepared organizations often complete the assessment event in 2–3 business days; less-prepared ones can run to five. We help you gauge readiness before you schedule so there are no surprises.
